About Felice

Experience, Training & Background

I began my career as a Special Education teacher for adolescents with emotional problems and learning disabilities.  After earning my Masters degree, I worked in both agency settings and private practice.  I served as the Executive Director for youth service agencies for 14 years.

It was while in this position, that my love for public speaking, training and educating other therapists began.

I’m a survivor of a toxic love relationship myself and raised twins as a single parent, who are now grown.   I’m remarried to a wonderful man who makes me laugh and whose character and kindness heals my heart.

When I’m not working, I enjoy being with family and friends, antiquing, frequenting flea markets, decorating, gardening and travel.

I received my degree in counseling psychology in 1985 from the Adler Institute, now the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

My post graduate training was in Marriage and Family Therapy and I train and supervise other therapists.
